Conrad P. Davis II

Comments: I am proud of my staff and their dedication to the Company and to Customer Service.
History: Conrad started the company after graduating from the University of Maine in 1976.  He has maintained his position throughout the years, expanding the company as well as its services.  His pride and joy are his three children, Nicole, Lyndsey and Christopher.
 

Nicole M. Davis

Comments: How can I help you?
History: Nicole began her work at Davis as an assistant to the receptionist when she was 14 years old and now holds the position of Vice President. She is responsible for all functions of the accounting office including all bookkeeping, payroll and human resource functions. Nicole looks forward to being an integral part of Davis for many, many years to come.

She graduated from St. Dominic Regional High School and attended the University of Maine- Orono. She is currently enrolled in the Business Management program at Central Maine Community College where she is a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women. She currently resides in Lewiston with her boyfriend Jeff and their dog Weezy.
 

Christopher T. Davis
Position: Operations Coordinator

Comments: The landscape should not be imposed upon its surroundings, but rather supported by them.
History: After many years of helping out around the shop, Chris quickly climbed through the ranks of the crew. Chris has recently graduated with a degree in Horticulture from SMCC. He is looking forward to the future growth of the company as the second generation takes the helm.
 

Gary D. Booker
Position: Operations Manager

History: Gary has been employed with Davis Landscape Co., Inc. since 1992. He started as a general laborer, quickly working his way up to being in charge of the Lawn Care Department. Also, with his family experience in masonry and hardscaping, he also took on the supervision of the Hardscape Department at Davis Landscape. With his extensive knowledge of Hardscape Construction as well as Lawn Care and Pest Control, he has made these two Departments intricate pieces of the Davis Landscape operation.

Gary has now been promoted to the position of Operations Manager of the entire Firm. He now maintains full control of all Departments and is in charge of all daily operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and customer relations throughout the Company. He resides in Lisbon with his son Christian.
 

Scott K. Thomas
Position: Head Field Supervisor

History: Scott has been with the Company since its inception in 1976. Scott started as a simple laborer, pedaling his bike to work every day. He has worked his way up to Head Field Supervisor. Scott oversees all daily jobs in the field and keeps a watchful eye on everything. He resides in Lewiston, Me. He has four children, Amanda, Erica, Krista, Joshua, and three grandchildren, Anthony, Lily, and Sean.
 

Christopher G. Matava
Position: Landscape Designer

Comments: Half the intent of a garden is the constant exercise of the imagination.
History: Hired in 2009, Chris runs the design department. With 20 years experience as a landscape designer, a master’s in landscape architecture, and a bachelor’s in horticulture, he has extensive knowledge in design, construction, and plant materials.

He values each client relationship and strives to exceed their expectations through his creativity and attention to detail. Let him transform your property.

 

Chet B. Berry
Position: Ground Maintenance Dept. Manager

History: Chet came to us in the beginning of 2001. He is originally from Ohio and has moved to Maine to enjoy "the Great Life of Maine." In fact, he now calls himself a "Mainerd." He has many years of Grounds Maintenance experience and has a keen eye for detail. He resides in Greene.
 

Leo J. Demers
Position: Hardscape Supervisor

History: Leo has been with Davis Landscape since 1989.  He started at the bottom of the ranks and has worked himself up to being one of the finest employees in the history of the company.  His attention to detail and perfection make him second to none.  He resides in Auburn with his wife Wendy.
 

Eric J. Mulkhey
Position: Irrigation Department Supervisor

Comments: Doing my part to keep your property green.
History: Eric joined Davis Landscape at the beginning of the 2009 season. He quickly proved himself and climbed his way up through the irrigation department. Eric is now the head supervisor of the irrigation division. With years of experience in both irrigation and horticulture, Eric has the expertise and ambition to tackle any project, no matter the size. Eric currently resides in Turner.
