Davis Landscape Co., Inc. highly respects the privacy of all its clients and is dedicated to protecting that privacy. Davis Landscape Co., Inc. provides this Privacy Statement to inform you of our Privacy Policy, the methods used to obtain information and how that information is used. We make this notice readily available anytime upon request.


We may collect non-public personal information (NPI) about you from various sources, including credit bureaus and other places of business at which you may have established credit. Information may be received from you or from others, verbally or on applications or other forms provided to us. NPI may include your name, address, and other information generally contained on credit applications. NPI may also be obtained as a result of business transactions with you.


All information obtained by us will be used internally at Davis Landscape Co., Inc. to process normal operational procedures of the Company, including any normal business transactions between the Company and its clients.


In the course of normal practices, we may disclose information that we have collected about you without your permission to the following types of institutions for reasons described below:

  1. To any third party, if the disclosure will enable that party to perform a business or professional service for us.
  2. To an insurance institution to whom we disclose information to perform a function in connection with an insurance transaction involving you.

You have the right to request access to the personal information that we record about you. Your right includes the right to know the source of the information and the identity of the persons, institutions or types of institution to whom we have disclosed such information within 2 years prior to your request. If there is not a record indicating that the information was provided to another, we would tell you to whom such information is normally disclosed. Your right includes the right to view such information and copy it in person, or request that a copy of it be sent to you by mail (for which we may charge a reasonable fee to cover our costs.) Your right also includes the right to request corrections, amendments or deletions of any information in our possession. The procedure that you must follow to request access to or an amendment of your information is as follows:

You should submit a request in writing to Christopher Davis, Davis Landscape Co., Inc., 78 Lisbon Street, Lisbon, Maine 04250. The request should include your name, address, Social Security Number, telephone number and the recorded information to which you would like access. The request should state whether you would like access in person or a copy of the information sent to you by mail. Upon receipt of your request, we will contact you within 30 business days to arrange providing you with access in person or the copies you have requested. Upon receipt of a written request to change or delete any personal information, we will notify you within 30 business days that we have made the correction, amendment or deletion, or that we refuse to do so and the reason(s) for the refusal, which you will have the opportunity to challenge.


We restrict access to NPI about you to only those employees who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your NPI.


Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to our privacy policy, or the breach thereof, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
