Backyard Oasis

Project: Pool Upgrade 
Location: Lisbon, ME

With an existing pool as the central feature, this backyard was transformed into a beautiful entertaining area featuring a water feature, brick paver pool deck, raised patio with hot tub, flower planters with micro-drip irrigation, columns, and night lighting, along with a gazebo with a flat panel TV and beverage bar.  The entire area also has a surround sound stereo system that was also installed.

With demolition complete, work begins on the pool oasis.

Stone columns with matching granite caps mark the entrance to the raised patio. Raised planters with micro drip irrigation allow for seasonal color and small flowering trees.
The sound of running water adds to the effect. The waterfall is neatly hidden under the granite cap resulting in a simple yet dramatic effect.
The completed project updates an aging patio around a pool, breathing new life into this area.

Use of granite is repeated in the steps and the cap on the planters and columns. The night lighting allows for more use long into the night.
